Typical Duties: Make contacts and gather information about news issues and events in Montana and the West from which reports are written and edited; Understand and implement the philosophy of the news director; Field produce and edit stories for newscast anchors; Use good news judgment on coverage and presentation of day’s news events; Work closely with other news department personnel to make sure Beartooth NBC completely, accurately, and fairly covers news events; Shoot and edit video; Appear on-air to report stories as assigned and fill-in anchor as needed. Update Station Website/Maintain Social Media Pages Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned. Requirements: Some experience as a television reporter, produce, or anchor; Familiarity with ENG and SNG; Ability to meet daily deadlines, and work cooperatively with other staff members; Detail oriented and professional in demeanor and appearance; Experience editing news copy and videotape; Newsroom computer experience helpful; College degree; Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Typing skills and good phone etiquette; Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds of television equipment; Please submit non-returnable DVD with resume Job available: Immediately Contact: Human Resources Beartooth Communications Company P.O.
